This hand hammered pure copper water bottle is all handmade, hand hammered (NOT by machine), in a remote town in India. We have two sizes 500ml and 700ml large jug. This is NOT leak proof. It is intended to use at the desk or bed side table and not to be carried around. We also have round pitcher shape jug as well for your bed side.

Drinking water stored in copper vessels (which is known as “Tamra Jal” in Ayurvedic medicine) will balance all three doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha) in your body. It is recommended to keep water in copper jug over night (or at least 8 hours) and drink it in the morning when you wake up. Small amount of copper from Jug will be absorbed to water and benefits of drinking this water includes improving digestive system, supporting weight loss, stimulates the brain, anti-aging and so on.
However, an excess of anything is not well received by our bodies. This includes copper. It is recommended to have a gap of one month after every three months of drinking copper infused water. Please make sure you are not allergic to copper before using this jug.

CARE:
Before the first use and after each use, wash with mild detergent or water with lime and keep it dry. Dry with soft towels. Do not use any scrubbing materials inside or outside of the jug and cup.
As time passes, the color of copper will darken but that is normal. It means copper is doing its work.
